Expanding its international growth and strengthening its commitment to ESG practices, maincubes has confirmed the joining of industry stalwart Martin Murphy as its new Chief Operating Officer. In line with targeting hyperscalers as an additional customer base, this appointment is set to bolster maincubes' operational performance and accelerate its establishment as a premier data center provider.
Martin Murphy will lead maincubes’ internal operations, manage customer success, and oversee the seamless integration of new sites into live operations. Murphy brings a rich portfolio of skills and experience to the table, boasting a repertoire of over 20 years in numerous leadership positions within the data center industry. His previous roles include the President EMEA at Salute Mission Critical, a global data center services provider, and Chief Operating Officer of CBRE Data Centre Solutions that served over 800+ data centers globally. Also notable is his time at AMS Helix, a data center-focused project management and consulting company which he had co-founded in 2021.

As the new COO, Murphy succeeds Stephan Harren who joined maincubes in 2022.
