Cayosoft reports 56% revenue leap due to AD recovery solution demand
Thu, 25th Apr 2024

Cayosoft, a trailblazer in Microsoft Active Directory (AD) management, monitoring, and recovery services, announced substantial milestones obtained in 2023, on the back of rising demand for its ground-breaking AD recovery solution, Cayosoft Guardian Forest Recovery. The company has achieved a record 56% increase in annual recurring revenue from 2022 to 2023, the most significant in the company’s history.

The frequency of business downtime due to AD outages has surged by 172% since 2021, primarily due to cyberattacks or simple user errors and system misconfigurations. These outages can potentially result in significant financial losses and business disruption. As a response to this growing threat, Cayosoft Guardian Forest Recovery, with its patent-pending recovery solution, can restore all Microsoft directories in mere seconds or minutes.

The robust demand for Guardian Forest Recovery drove the aforementioned record-setting growth, with the recent $22.5m minority investment from Centana Growth Partners set to bolster the company's global operations through 2024.

In anticipation of further growth, Cayosoft has grown its executive leadership team and substantially bolstered its Board of Advisors and strategic senior leadership across the company. The fresh talent includes Jeremy Manly as Chief Financial Officer, Dmitry Sotnikov as Chief Product Officer, Larry Kraft as Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships, and Jarrod Roark as Senior Vice President of Technical Operations.

Moreover, Cayosoft has inaugurated its Board of Advisors, welcoming industry stalwarts such as Bill Largent, former CEO of Veeam Software; Callan Harrington, founder and CEO of Flashgrowth; and Kevin Kampman, principal consulting analyst with TechVision Research and former Gartner Research Director.

The company remains committed to continuous product innovation. Alongside the January 2024 release of Microsoft change monitoring and auditing solution, Cayosoft Guardian, the firm became the first vendor to provide the ability to monitor and rollback Microsoft Intune. In addition, recent enhancements have included improved account provisioning capabilities for Cayosoft Administrator to better secure, simplify, and automate account suspension processes.

Active Directory security is not just surviving but thriving in importance, as noted by Cayosoft founder and CEO Robert Bobel. "AD is both a primary target of attacks, and one of the first core IT assets organisations must restore in the aftermath of a misconfiguration or a disaster scenario like a cyberattack," he said. He highlighted the firm's focus on growing global demand for instant AD recovery, strategic talent acquisition, and securing capital for extending its global sales reach, all in the pursuit of its ambitious growth goals for 2024.

Cayosoft will be demonstrating its capabilities at the RSA Conference in San Francisco, taking place from May 6 - 9, 2024. The conference offers an opportunity to engage with the company's C-level leadership and understand more about Cayosoft's solutions.
