Maincubes appoints Arne Weber as CFO
European data center operator maincubes has announced the appointment of Arne Weber as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The company, known for providing colocation solutions to public entities, global enterprises, and service providers, is currently in a phase of rapid expansion. This development follows maincubes' recent announcement of its new debt facility exceeding €1bn, and the support of its partners DTCP and Art-Invest Real Estate.
Weber brings to maincubes his comprehensive experience in international finance and a solid corporate finance background, including successful Mergers and Acquisitions (M&As). His prior stint as CFO at software company IMS Evolve saw him playing a pivotal role in the firm's significant international growth and strategic and operative development. Weber's extensive experience also includes tenures at several international investment banks in Frankfurt, London, and New York.
Commenting on his appointment, Weber says, "It is a great honor to be part of this successful company and to contribute my expertise as CFO. I look forward to helping drive further growth alongside the current management team and key partners – DTCP and Art-Invest Real Estate. I will focus on building an efficient and scalable financial strategy that supports the ongoing sustainable growth of maincubes."
Oliver Menzel, CEO of maincubes, acknowledged Weber's appointment as a growth-focused move. "With the appointment of Arne Weber, maincubes sends a clear message for growth, and the position of maincubes in the European data center market will be further strengthened. Arne is a perfect fit to take maincubes to the next level, and I am very much looking forward to our collaboration," he says.
