Life360 launches new & improved Tile Bluetooth trackers

Life360 has unveiled a new range of Tile Bluetooth trackers, including four models: Tile Mate, Tile Pro, Tile Slim, and Tile Sticker. These redesigned trackers are aimed at helping families keep track of valuable items and ensuring the safety of loved ones through enhanced location-sharing features. Each tracker now includes a multi-function button that extends Life360's SOS services.

The new range is designed to provide an extra layer of security, with the multi-function button on each tracker capable of triggering an SOS alert. By pressing the Tile button three times, users can send a notification and their location to their Life360 Circle and emergency contacts. This SOS feature is integrated with the Life360 app and is available to all Life360 users at no extra cost. Additionally, the app can be used to locate and ring shared Tiled items or a connected mobile phone, making it easier for families to find important items quickly.

The new lineup features various improvements, including extended range, louder rings, and a refined design. Tile Mate, Tile Slim, and Tile Sticker will be available for purchase from September 16th, while the Tile Pro will be available in early October. The Tile Mate is priced at GBP £24.99, the Tile Slim at GBP £29.99, the Tile Sticker at GBP £24.99, and the Tile Pro at GBP £34.99.

Tile Mate is considered the "everything tracker" with a built-in keyring, ideal for tracking items like keys, backpacks, lunchboxes, and purses. The Tile Pro, which boasts the longest range and a louder ring, is designed for more valuable items such as golf bags, cameras, or cars. The Tile Slim, being the thinnest tracker, is suited for wallets, passport holders, and luggage. Finally, the Tile Sticker, the smallest Bluetooth tracker in the market, can be adhered easily to items like TV remotes or bicycles.

Each tracker in the new lineup is ready to use straight out of the box without any additional accessories. Tile Mate, Sticker, and Pro models now feature an even louder ring for easier nearby finding, complementing existing features such as Anti-Theft Mode, which does not alert thieves to the tracker's presence via notifications, improving the user's chances of recovering their valuables.

The integration of Tile's trackers with the Life360 app and network represents a significant step towards Life360's objective of keeping members safe and connected with their important items, pets, and loved ones. This integration is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, ensuring that essential features are accessible to a wide range of users.

Life360 offers several membership tiers - Free, Silver, Gold, and Platinum - designed to meet the diverse needs of families. The Gold and Platinum memberships, available in the UK, US, Australia, and Canada, include additional benefits such as the ability to contact emergency dispatch services using the Tile's SOS feature. The dispatcher can assess the situation and contact the appropriate authorities, providing extra security and peace of mind. Other premium benefits include Roadside Assistance, Stolen Phone Protection, 30 days of Location History, and Individual Driving Reports.

The new Tile trackers and the enhancements in the Life360 app demonstrate a concerted effort to provide comprehensive solutions for family safety and connectivity.
