Kreoh appoints Dr Williamson as Chief Strategy Officer

Yesterday

Dr Brian Williamson has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer at Kreoh, a company focused on artificial intelligence and regulatory reporting, particularly in the area of R&D tax credits.

Kreoh aims to integrate its AI capabilities with Dr Williamson's extensive experience in fostering business growth across various sectors. Dr Williamson was recognised as Non-Executive Director of the Year in 2021 by the Institute of Directors. His previous roles include scaling an R&D tax credit firm in Edinburgh to prominence in the UK and providing guidance to international organisations through the Your Research and Development Advisory Board.

In relation to his new role at Kreoh, Dr Williamson said, "Governments often focus on initiatives that yield results within the lifespan of a parliamentary term, leading to short-term thinking. AI, however, provides an accelerant capable of transforming economies well within those timeframes. This technology is a game-changer for industries and governments alike."

Garry Tiscovschi, the founder of Kreoh, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment, stating, "Our R&D engine is built to navigate the complex and diverse regulations of global jurisdictions, adhering to the highest international standards. To achieve our ambitious goals, we sought out Brian, one of the first R&D tax specialists in the UK, whose expertise in executive search, client growth, and business support is unparalleled." He added, "His strategic insight and entrepreneurial drive impressed us from the outset when he joined as Advisory Board Chairman. Now, we are thrilled to welcome him in a full-time leadership role as Chief Strategy Officer, guiding Kreoh through its next phase of rapid growth."

Kreoh has developed an AI engine for regulatory reporting that assists professionals in verifying compliance and accuracy of R&D tax credit applications. This AI-driven technology works alongside human expertise to ensure precise and effective submissions.

The timing of the appointment coincides with the UK's national agenda on AI, following Prime Minister Keir Starmer's emphasis on AI's role in boosting economic growth. The Prime Minister announced plans to expand public computing capabilities and establish AI "growth zones," aligning with Kreoh's mission to harness AI for transformative outcomes.
