Kolekti launches Narus for secure Generative AI adoption
Kolekti has announced the launch of a new secure Generative AI platform, Narus, tailored to enable secure AI adoption for businesses.
The release of Narus aims to address concerns highlighted in McKinsey's 2024 State of AI report, which found that while 72% of organisations have adopted AI, many struggle with ensuring its safe usage and deriving positive returns. Narus directly addresses these challenges by providing a secure, enterprise-grade AI chat portal complemented by prompt optimisation tools and a shared prompt library to enhance productivity.
Narus presents a cost-effective AI solution in an industry where enterprise platforms often demand high minimum seat numbers and charge substantial fees. Instead, Narus offers a flexible pay-as-you-go pricing structure, which is poised to make AI more accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in professional services, HR, marketing, media, and IT sectors.
Adam Wignall, General Manager at Kolekti, stated, "Narus is our solution to this challenge. Employees are eager to use AI, but organisations must ensure it's done safely. The success of AI hinges on trust - both in the tools and the people using them. Narus is designed to foster this trust, offering a platform that empowers workers while maintaining organisational oversight, essential for large-scale deployment and long-term success."
The issue of unregulated or 'shadow AI' use is significant, with 78% of knowledge workers using unauthorised AI tools to complete their work and 52% failing to disclose this to their employers, thus posing risks like data breaches and compliance violations. Deloitte's report also reveals that only 23% of organisations feel highly prepared for GenAI risks, highlighting the pressing need for structured AI integration. Narus seeks to bridge the gap between employee interest and corporate readiness, supporting controlled AI adoption.
Some of the features of Narus include versatile AI interaction allowing users to work with multiple language models through API integration, enhancing productivity with prompt optimisation tools, and a shared prompt library for team collaboration. The platform also includes real-time monitoring to prevent data leaks and ensure regulation compliance, while administrators retain the ability to manage access and track usage and expenses.
Additionally, Narus emphasises strong governance and security protocols. It allows organisations to assign specific AI models to users based on roles and set up alerts for sensitive data inputs, aligning with regulations such as GDPR. The platform's flexible nature ensures that it can support businesses with varied requirements, promoting responsible AI use.
Narus supports businesses navigating GenAI by providing a clear framework for its adoption, centring on defined use cases, governance, measurement, and training, thereby mitigating risks and maximising benefits.
