JMAN Group hires Daniel Ferguson as Associate Partner

Thu, 26th Feb 2026

JMAN Group has appointed Daniel Ferguson as an Associate Partner as it expands its senior team and deepens its work with private equity clients.

Ferguson joins from Enhesa, where he was Commercial Excellence Director. He also founded Ferguson EQ, a consultancy that supports start-ups and scale-ups with cloud-based data and technology work. Earlier in his career, he held roles at The Citation Group and Merkle EMEA, leading analytics teams.

The appointment follows a run of senior hires at the London-headquartered firm, including Kaushik Perinkulam Ravi as Chief of Staff to the CTO and Sara Mackie as General Counsel.

Private Equity Focus

JMAN positions itself as a commercial data partner for private equity funds and their portfolio companies. It works across analytics, data strategy, and implementation, linking operational data with commercial decision-making.

In the Associate Partner role, Ferguson will work with client teams and JMAN's leadership on strategic advisory and delivery. The position sits within the firm's private equity work, where funds are seeking faster access to reliable performance data across portfolio companies.

Private equity firms have increased their focus on data in recent years, expanding internal operating teams and centralising functions across portfolios. That shift has increased demand for shared tooling, standard reporting, and common definitions for key metrics. It has also heightened attention on data quality and governance, particularly where portfolio companies run different systems and processes.

Ferguson linked the appointment to competitive pressure on investors and the role of data in investment and operational decisions.

"At a time of keen competition and heightened risk, data has evolved to become the single biggest differentiator for investors," said Daniel Ferguson, Associate Partner, JMAN Group.

"JMAN has consistently led this transformation, enabling private equity firms and their portfolio companies to unlock significant value through smarter, faster and more informed decision-making. I'm excited to be part of this journey and drive meaningful impact for our clients," he added.

Growth And Scale

Founded in 2010, JMAN has offices in New York, London and Chennai. It has more than 400 staff and works with more than 100 private equity funds and over 250 portfolio companies. Nearly 85% of revenue is reported to come from recurring client partnerships.

JMAN has been a portfolio company of Baird Capital since 2023, reflecting a broader trend of investment in data consultancies and technology services firms with a clear sector focus and repeatable delivery models.

JMAN Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Anush Newman described the hire as part of an ongoing effort to build leadership depth.

"Daniel brings proven commercial expertise and a shared passion for delivering innovation and excellence in data-led commercial consultancy," Newman said.

"This appointment reflects our commitment to building high-performing teams whose expertise drives an exceptional client experience, reinforcing our position as the data partner of choice for private equity firms," he added.

Ferguson's background spans analytics leadership and commercial roles-an increasingly common combination in consulting and services firms that sit between technology delivery and operating-model change. His experience at Enhesa also brings perspective from regulated, compliance-heavy environments, where structured data controls and standardised reporting are often required.

JMAN's recent emphasis on executive and senior hires points to continued growth in its private equity practice, as demand increases for consistent, decision-ready data across acquisitions, integrations and performance-improvement initiatives.
