Janet Robb Joins ANS as Director of Customer Enablement to Bolster Digital Transformation
Fri, 29th Sep 2023

Manchester-based technology firm ANS has announced the appointment of Janet Robb as its new Director of Customer Enablement, marking a strategic move to support customers through their digital transformation journeys. Robb, a seasoned professional in the field, joins ANS from Microsoft where she was a senior member of the Business Applications customer success programme.

Richard Thompson, CEO of ANS, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment: "Janet’s addition to our team at ANS will really help our customers accelerate their growth plans, while following best practice and governance. Our customers sit at the heart of everything we do, and we understand that supporting our customers through their digital transformation journeys will help them to thrive."

In her role, Robb will be responsible for ensuring that ANS customers are equipped with the right adoption metrics, vision, and strategy to succeed in their digital initiatives. She will work closely with customers to help them overcome the challenges frequently encountered in digital transformation projects.

Robb, who has been an influential figure in the world of digital transformation—particularly within the Power Platform community—will lend her expertise for guidance, advice, and hands-on support with ANS customers' digital transformation projects. She will also play a key role in shaping ANS’ wider business strategy and inform the best approach for customers looking to adopt Microsoft Power Platform, a suite of low-code tools for building apps, workflows, AI bots, and data analytics.

Robb was also a founding member of the Power Platform community, where she ran a programme of conferences, training, and mentoring sessions. Her appointment coincides with a period of rapid growth for ANS, following its recent multi-million-pound investment in its new tech hub 'Fusion' in Manchester. The new campus aims to serve as a collaborative working space, offering employees, customers, local businesses, and communities access to innovate.

Commenting on her new role, Janet Robb says: "I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to gain experience, thrive and be included with equality in a safe tech community. I’m passionate about helping people in tech projects on their individual change journeys. Success is all about people. I am incredibly excited to start working together with ANS’s customers and share my experience of the Power Platform community to help its customers get the most out of the programmes and services on offer."

She adds, "I was so impressed to see ANS’ commitment to customers when taking on the role of Director of Customer Enablement, and I hope to see the rest of the tech scene follow suit and embrace the adoption of new similar customer-centric roles."

Robb's appointment underscores ANS’ commitment to helping organisations achieve their ambitions by providing access to top-notch technology and resources. With her extensive experience and expertise, ANS aims to continue pioneering new, innovative ways of working with customers.
