Ipsotek unveils VISuite Core AI video analytics platform
Ipsotek, an Eviden business, has launched VISuite Core, an AI video analytics product aimed at large-scale, multi-site deployments in regulated and safety-critical sectors.
The new software targets environments that run many sites under common rules and oversight. Ipsotek is initially focusing on petrol filling stations, schools and educational institutions, and energy and utilities operators.
The company positions VISuite Core as a standardised product rather than a bespoke deployment. Ipsotek has based the launch on analysis of real-world operational environments across different industries.
The product sits within Ipsotek's existing VISuite portfolio and extends recent work by the company in generative AI for video analytics.
VISuite Core uses a set of pre-defined, sector-specific use cases. Ipsotek said this approach reduces configuration work and shortens deployment time for large estates. Customers run the software across existing video infrastructure through what the company describes as a repeatable, plug-and-play deployment model suited to distributed networks of sites and partner-led rollouts.
The company said VISuite Core removes configuration layers and costs that have limited wide adoption of analytics systems. The product applies a consistent model across locations, instead of individual, site-specific tuning.
Standardised use cases
Ipsotek has designed VISuite Core around a curated set of use cases that it says deliver actionable alerts and operational insights. The company has aligned these use cases with financial, compliance and safety outcomes.
The software uses generative AI for automatic configuration. Ipsotek said this allows faster rollout at scale and reduces the need for on-site engineering work at each location.
The user interface has been designed as streamlined and intuitive. Ipsotek said this reduces training requirements for operators and simplifies daily use by security and operations staff.
The product includes dashboards and reporting features. These provide views of trends, performance and compliance metrics across sites.
Ipsotek said the combination of pre-built workflows and automation yields shorter installation times and simpler integration with existing systems. The company is targeting partner ecosystems that deploy video analytics across broad networks of customer sites.
Focus sectors
The initial release focuses on three sectors that operate under strict compliance and safety regimes. These are petrol filling stations, schools and educational institutions, and energy and utilities.
In petrol forecourts, operators monitor for safety incidents, regulatory breaches and suspicious behaviour. Ipsotek said VISuite Core supports consistent monitoring policies across all locations in a network.
In schools and campuses, the company is aiming at situational awareness and safeguarding use cases. These scenarios include monitoring shared spaces and access points and reporting events that may require intervention.
Energy and utilities providers run dispersed and often remote infrastructure. Ipsotek said VISuite Core addresses the need for oversight of high-risk sites such as substations, generation plants and storage facilities.
The company plans to expand sector coverage through a modular roadmap. It expects to add new vertical applications over time as market needs change.
Generative AI role
VISuite Core incorporates Ipsotek's work in generative AI within video analytics. The company has integrated this technology into configuration workflows rather than into bespoke consultancy projects.
Ipsotek said generative AI underpins automatic configuration and sector templates in VISuite Core. This approach aims to ensure that deployments remain consistent across large estates without site-by-site tuning.
Dr Boghos Boghossian, Chief Executive and Chief Technology Officer at Ipsotek, said the launch changes how customers consume AI-based analytics.
"VISuite Core marks a significant evolution in how AI-Video Analytics can be delivered. By using Generative AI to automate configuration and augment the traditions by focusing on the most impactful industry workflows, we are enabling our customers and partners to deploy analytics at a scale that was previously impractical," said Boghossian.
Ipsotek plans to demonstrate VISuite Core at the Intersec UAE security and safety trade event in Dubai. The company will show the software as part of its wider VISuite product family and its role within Eviden's Vision AI offering.
