Infinigate launches digital platform to aid business digitalisation
Mon, 15th Apr 2024

The Swiss-based Infinigate Group, recognised as an advisor and technology platform in Cybersecurity, Secure Networks and Secure Cloud, has announced the launch of Infinigate Digital Connect (ID Connect). This portal provides tools and platforms enabling an integrated digital experience for partners to support business digitalisation and the growth potential associated with the rise of the IT subscription consumption model.

Made accessible to partners ranging from SMBs to Managed Service Providers (MSPs), large Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and Systems Integrators (SIs), ID Connect ensures the delivery of a broad selection of digital services. This includes digitally provisioning cloud subscriptions and MSP programmes, hardware purchasing, sales & order administration, marketing tools, professional services support, training, and sourcing pre-built marketing campaigns.

Klaus Schlichtherle, CEO of the Infinigate Group, highlights the significant role digitalisation plays. He explains: "Digitalisation is a real game-changer for the channel in terms of the way technology is purchased and consumed. Through ID Connect, Infinigate offers a best-in-class platform with tried and tested, consolidated digital workflows."

Furthermore, he notes the company's goal: "Our goal is to drive growth for the channel thanks to efficient customer lifecycle management, so that end customers, resellers and vendors can benefit from the IT subscription consumption model and quickly adapt to changing market conditions."

Alexandre Remy, Vice President of Digital Platforms at Infinigate, elaborates on the potential advantage for partners offered through ID Connect. With "the unique combination of digital enablement and specialist expertise", along with services like data analytics, marketing, pre- and post-sales support, ID Connect promises to foster growth generation in the prevailing environment, he asserts. He adds, "We are investing heavily in an evolutive roadmap to continuously improve and adapt our support and digital value proposition across EMEA.”

The launch responds closely to industry trends. Industry analysts Canalys identify managed services and cybersecurity as key growth drivers. As managed Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions increase in demand and businesses aim to conserve capital, organisations lacking an in-house cyber specialism are likely to turn to channel partners. Commenting on this trend, Canalys notes the "golden opportunity for the channel to step in and provide managed security services" to such companies.

Infinigate's ID Connect is available in 13 countries, including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK. Partners will have custom access to those areas relevant to their focus and needs and can be granted access to additional tools and services upon application.

The platform will evolve alongside the transformation of the industry over the coming months, aiming to provide additional services, streamline customer integrations and lower the cost of operations, according to the company.
