IGEL bolsters global enterprise with new executive sales leaders

Wed, 6th Dec 2023

IGEL, a provider of a managed endpoint operating system for secured access to digital workspaces, has appointed two new executive sales leaders to strengthen its global enterprise. Mads Skalbo, a former Citrix sales executive, takes on the role of Vice President of Global Managed Service Provider (MSP) business. Eric Kline will be serving as the Vice President of Channel Sales, EMEA.

Klaus Oestermann, CEO of IGEL, states, "I am pleased to welcome Mads and Eric to our seasoned sales leadership organisation. They each bring unique and proven skills that will amplify our market penetration across key regions in Europe and with the high-growth MSP market category. Their extensive contacts and proven track records will be exceptionally valuable as we accelerate the adoption of IGEL OS, worldwide."

Mads Skalbo, with more than a decade of leadership experience at Citrix and other major tech companies, is now tasked with building IGEL's presence across the MSP community. He notes, "MSPs around the globe are quickly realising the value of IGEL OS as the most effective way to deliver a preventative security approach across their customers' end user computing enterprises, and I'm eager to be a key contributor to this growth."

Eric Kline draws from over twenty years of experience, having previously served as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Citrix in EMEA and later the Chief Revenue Officer for BlackBerry's IoT Business Unit. Speaking on his appointment, he says, "IGEL delivers the enterprise-class endpoint platform today's business needs. I look forward to growing the market share footprint of IGEL OS across the EMEA channel ecosystem as we capitalise on the hybrid work paradigm."

With these new appointments, the IGEL team aims to leverage their decades-long experience and unique skills to enhance the company's footprint across the global workspace technology sector. The new leadership is set to inspire the acceleration of the broad adoption of IGEL OS, across the globe and particularly in Europe, by capitalising on emerging market trends and the shifting work paradigms of the modern era.
