Hyve Managed Hosting expands with new Frankfurt data centre

Hyve Managed Hosting has announced the launch of a new data centre in Frankfurt, Germany, further strengthening its European presence.

The decision to establish a new data centre in Frankfurt comes one year after the launch of Hyve's European hub in Berlin. The company has experienced a significant increase in customer demand for its cloud services, necessitating the expansion of its infrastructure in the region. This new site aims to reduce latency and improve reliability while enabling customers to comply with regional standards.

Following the successful launch of our European hub in Germany last year and the incoming demand from our European customers for reliable and customisable infrastructure, it was a natural step to expand our presence in the region."

Hyve Managed Hosting, which operates globally with offices in the UK, USA, and Germany, offers various managed cloud services, such as Managed Private Cloud, Managed Enterprise Cloud, Hybrid & Multi-Cloud solutions, and Disaster Recovery as a Service. The company's clientele includes brands like Capita, Ansys, Konica Minolta, and the NHS.

The new deployment in Frankfurt has been delivered in partnership with Equinix, a prominent digital infrastructure provider. This collaboration is expected to enhance Hyve's existing service offerings with enterprise-grade hardware, robust power and cooling redundancy, and high levels of security to protect critical business information. It also includes a hybrid cloud interconnect for direct connectivity to public cloud environments, allowing seamless integration with Hyve's infrastructure.
