Halcyon partners with Distology for UK ransomware fight

Yesterday

Halcyon has announced the expansion of its Halcyon Revolution Partner program to the United Kingdom, alongside a strategic partnership with United Kindom cybersecurity distributor Distology to enhance ransomware resilience.

The expansion follows Halcyon's recent USD $100 million Series C funding round, which valued the company at USD $1 billion. According to the company, the funds are intended to accelerate growth through the rapid expansion of Halcyon's channel program.

The company and Distology aim to leverage their combined resources to address endpoint protection gaps and minimise the impact of ransomware. "Halcyon is designed to work in concert with other aspects of the security stack to help companies maximise the return on their security investments," said Chris Catanzaro, Vice President of Global MSSP and Channels at Halcyon.

"Our partner program expansion in the U.K. with Distology as a strategic partner will deliver the outcomes that business leaders want in response to ransomware - no business impact. With Halcyon's anti-ransomware platform and Distology's market acceleration, we can insulate customers from ransomware and give companies peace of mind," hesays.

Halcyon's Anti-Ransomware Platform aims to protect organisations from ransomware attacks by employing its key material capture and automated decryption capabilities to prevent the activation of ransomware payloads. The Distology partnership is expected to enhance the approach to risk analysis and efficient service delivery. Lance Williams, Chief Technology Officer at Distology, remarked, "At Distology, we're continuously surveying the market for cybersecurity technologies that make a real difference in the war against cyber threats.

"Our new partnership with one of the newest cyber tech unicorns, Halcyon, brings the potential to our partners to offer their customers a fundamental upgrade to their cyber defences to counter our greatest opposition: ransomware. With targeted threat techniques evolving throughout 2025, thanks to AI-powered text, voice and video phishing, Halcyon's anti-ransomware technology protects at the system level of every endpoint," he says.

"I'm confident that this ground-breaking technology, brilliant team of people, and complementary fit with existing endpoint protection platforms will spark positive defence upgrades for end customers and buoyant business growth for our channel partners," says Williams.

The expanded Halcyon Revolution Partner Program is a key part of the company's strategy to boost global growth via a channel-led go-to-market approach. The program is designed to empower solution providers to establish themselves as trusted ransomware experts for their clients, offering advanced prevention, detection, as well as recovery solutions tailored to counter the evolving threats.
