HackerOne brings AI security agent Hai to AWS Marketplace users

Wed, 23rd Jul 2025

HackerOne has launched its AI security agent, Hai, on the AWS Marketplace within the new AI Agents and Tools category, making the tool more accessible for customers seeking agent-driven workflow integrations.

Marketplace integration

The inclusion of Hai in the AWS Marketplace allows organisations to discover, purchase, and deploy the AI security agent directly through their AWS accounts. This integration aims to simplify the procurement process, enabling customers to adopt AI agent solutions while maintaining centralised control over licensing, payments, and access via AWS infrastructure.

HackerOne states that Hai is designed to help security teams reduce validation time by up to 75 percent, providing greater consistency in severity scoring of vulnerabilities and enhancing collaboration between security, engineering, and development teams. The company highlights that these improvements can lead to quicker and more coordinated vulnerability resolution across the software development lifecycle.

"By offering Hai in AWS Marketplace, we're providing customers with a streamlined path to discover and adopt our security agent, enabling faster, more efficient access to agentic AI solutions," said Nidhi Aggarwal, Chief Product Officer at HackerOne. "Our customers in a broad range of industries are already using these capabilities to accelerate remediation, improve decision-making, and strengthen their overall security posture."

Capabilities and workflow impact

Hai incorporates features such as intelligent report analysis, trend detection across programmes, and integrated workflow automation. These capabilities are intended to support users in making faster decisions, acting on identified issues more rapidly, and improving overall security processes. According to HackerOne, deploying Hai can help teams cut coordination time by 20 to 30 percent by surfacing insights including report summaries, similar historical submissions, and suggested severity ratings.

The company asserts that Hai reduces the need for prolonged communication between security and development teams, thus accelerating vulnerability management and remediation efforts. The automation of key workflows reportedly contributes to more consistent processes and quicker response times.

Procurement and deployment

The AWS Marketplace's new AI Agents and Tools category is intended to facilitate faster AI adoption by streamlining procurement and reducing the time required for vendor assessments and contractual negotiations. Customers can now access Hai as a native feature within the HackerOne Platform, leveraging pre-trained large language models through AWS Bedrock. The company emphasises that this integration operates within HackerOne's security frameworks to ensure that customer data, systems, and privacy are not compromised.

By making Hai available through a centralised cloud marketplace, users gain access to AI-driven security insights in a way that is integrated with their existing AWS environments. This cloud-based delivery is designed to help organisations maintain oversight on usage, licensing, and costs while securing their environments using AI-powered tools.

Industry and customer context

The announcement underlines HackerOne's focus on providing tools that cut manual effort and reduce delays in remediation tasks. The company notes that customers across different industries have started implementing these AI capabilities as part of their broader security strategies.

Hai's integration with AWS Marketplace is positioned as a move to support accelerated AI-driven workflows in security operations, supporting teams as they handle vulnerability management and resolution at scale.
