DXC unveils Xponential framework to scale responsible AI adoption

Wed, 29th Oct 2025

DXC Technology has announced the launch of Xponential, a new AI orchestration blueprint designed to help organisations deploy and scale artificial intelligence in a secure and responsible manner.

The company says Xponential addresses the issue that a high proportion of AI pilot projects do not achieve their intended business impact. According to DXC, the framework aims to simplify the process of adopting AI at scale by integrating people, processes, and technology into a cohesive system.

Framework pillars

Xponential is structured around five interdependent pillars: Insight, Accelerators, Automation, Approach, and Process. These are designed to embed governance and compliance, utilize proprietary tools, optimise operational workflows with agentic frameworks, enable collaboration between humans and AI, and provide flexible methodologies for implementation.

"Business leaders are eager to capture the promise of AI, but too often they get stuck in pilots or struggle to scale," said Raul Fernandez, President and CEO of DXC. "DXC is uniquely positioned to help, with deep industry expertise, proven AI capabilities, and a track record of transforming complex operations. Xponential provides a blueprint that combines human expertise with AI, embeds governance and security from day one, and continuously evolves as AI matures -- helping enterprises move from vision to value with speed and confidence."

The company states that Xponential offers a structured and repeatable method for orchestrating AI throughout an organisation's technology landscape while delivering early observable results to help scale usage rapidly and with confidence.

Industry use cases

Several global enterprises are already using Xponential to support AI initiatives, according to DXC. At Textron, DXC implemented AI-powered automation and workflow optimisation, which resulted in a 20% reduction in service desk tickets and proactive resolution of network issues for 32,000 employees. The European Space Agency (ESA) is using Xponential's framework for ASK ESA, an AI-powered platform developed to unify data, speed up research, and enhance collaboration across the agency.

The Singapore General Hospital, cited as Singapore's largest tertiary hospital, used the Xponential blueprint to partner with DXC on an AI-driven solution for infectious diseases. The Augmented Intelligence in Infectious Diseases (AI2D) system leverages AI-powered insights combined with human decision-making to guide antibiotic choices for lower respiratory tract infections. The hospital reports achieving 90% accuracy in its recommendations, which it says is helping to improve patient care and combat antimicrobial resistance.

Ferrovial, an international infrastructure company, collaborated with DXC to build the AI Workbench platform, described as a generative AI system combining consulting, engineering, and enterprise services. With more than 30 AI agents making real-time decisions, Ferrovial is using the platform to improve operations for over 25,500 employees.

Enabling global adoption

DXC emphasises that its ability to deliver these solutions at scale stems from its team of 50,000 full-stack engineers and a network of AI-focused centres across six continents - including Innovation Centres, Centres of Competency, and Centres of Excellence. According to the company, these resources enable organisations in different sectors and regions to adopt AI in a responsible manner and achieve measurable results.

"Business leaders are eager to capture the promise of AI, but too often they get stuck in pilots or struggle to scale. DXC is uniquely positioned to help, with deep industry expertise, proven AI capabilities, and a track record of transforming complex operations. Xponential provides a blueprint that combines human expertise with AI, embeds governance and security from day one, and continuously evolves as AI matures -- helping enterprises move from vision to value with speed and confidence," said Raul Fernandez, President and CEO of DXC.

Xponential is already being used by a number of organisations in sectors ranging from healthcare and infrastructure to aerospace, reflecting a cross-industry demand for structured AI adoption frameworks that prioritise responsible scaling, governance, and early measurable gains.
