Digital.ai leader joins AnitaBorg board to boost tech equity

Mon, 9th Feb 2026

Digital.ai General Counsel and Head of Talent Patricia Prince-Taggart has joined the board of directors at AnitaB.org, a non-profit focused on gender and broader representation in technology.

The appointment brings a senior legal and talent executive from a software delivery platform provider to the board of an organisation best known for the Grace Hopper Celebration, a long-running conference and networking event for women technologists.

AnitaB.org says its mission is to foster a more equitable tech community and expand opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds, including those underrepresented in the sector.

Board remit

Prince-Taggart's expansive remit encompasses strategic initiatives related to both recruitment and fundraising. Additionally, she is set to participate in the AnitaB.org NEXT Leadership Program, alongside its wider range of mentorship programmes.

The NEXT initiative serves as a dedicated accelerator programme for mid-level professionals, specifically engineered to facilitate their progression into senior-level leadership positions. Complementing this, AnitaB.org operates a series of mentoring initiatives designed to foster meaningful connections between participants, seasoned technology executives, and industry peers.

Prince-Taggart is also set to participate in the 2026 Grace Hopper Celebration, which organisers describe as the world's largest gathering of women technologists, focused on training, career advancement, and networking.

Industry groups and employers have put renewed focus on talent pipelines as demand has grown for skills in software engineering, data, and AI. Many have expanded early-career and leadership development programmes, particularly for groups that remain underrepresented in senior technical and management roles.

Leadership focus

AnitaB.org President and CEO Brenda Darden Wilkerson said Prince-Taggart is expected to strengthen the organisation's work in leadership development and industry engagement.

"Patricia brings deep leadership experience and a genuine passion for empowering the next generation in technology," said Brenda Darden Wilkerson, President & CEO, AnitaB.org. "Her contributions will strengthen our programs and help us expand opportunities for technologists across the industry."

AnitaB.org has framed recent board appointments as part of a broader effort to connect its programmes with corporate leaders and practitioners. Fundraising and partnerships remain central to its model, alongside event revenue and sponsorship tied to the Grace Hopper Celebration.

Digital.ai role

In her capacity at Digital.ai, Prince-Taggart directs the organisation's comprehensive legal affairs and serves as a pivotal member of the leadership collective responsible for the strategic oversight of human capital and talent acquisition. She has been instrumental in the fundamental architecture of the company's talent management frameworks and the ongoing cultivation of its internal corporate culture.

Digital.ai provides a sophisticated, AI-driven software delivery platform designed to integrate and synchronise a diverse array of tools throughout the entirety of the software development lifecycle. This encompassing solution facilitates the seamless orchestration of critical functions, including automated build sequences, rigorous testing protocols, advanced security enforcement, and complex release management processes.

The company sells to large organisations and positions its platform around governance and visibility across development workflows. Like many vendors in the segment, it has put greater emphasis on AI as enterprises seek more automation and risk management in software delivery.

Prince-Taggart linked the board role to deeper engagement with the non-profit and its community of leaders and advocates.

"I'm honored to be appointed to the Board of Directors at AnitaB.org. I look forward to contributing alongside an inspiring group of leaders and advocates, and I encourage others to explore ways to support AnitaB.org - whether through partnership, sponsorship, or engagement," said Patricia Prince-Taggart.

The appointment comes as employers and non-profits step up attention to how AI may reshape recruitment, career paths, and skills requirements across the sector. Tech organisations have also faced questions from staff and candidates about development opportunities, access to mentoring, and fair promotion processes as they adopt new tools and restructure teams.

AnitaB.org says its programmes focus on building professional networks and development routes that connect individuals with employers and peers. Participation in Grace Hopper and leadership programmes is often supported by company sponsorship and internal development budgets, alongside individual attendance.

Prince-Taggart is expected to take part in AnitaB.org programming through 2026, including the Grace Hopper Celebration.
