Clearstream partners with Intix for enhanced financial data management
Clearstream, Deutsche Börse Group's post-trade service provider, has announced a partnership with Intix, the transactional data management specialist. Its goal will be to enhance its access to financial messaging data, aiding the German security service provider's compliance with both new and changing global regulations.
Collaboration with Intix will support Clearstream's financial messaging data warehouse capability. Leveraging Intix's advanced data management capabilities, Clearstream see an enhancement in accessibility to financial messaging data, such as SWIFT MTs and ISO 20022 structured messages and files.
For Clearstream, the collaboration with Intix is expected to result in a single-window access to all transaction data across all data sectors, including legacy systems. Clearstream's decision to utilize Intix's suite of solutions underlines their commitment to leverage modern technologies to drive innovation and respond effectively to growing regulatory and customer demands.
Clearstream's reputation in the industry is well established. Its 50-year experience has cemented its role as a global leader in post-trade infrastructure and securities services in the international market. With operations spanning 60 markets worldwide and customers in 110 countries, the new partnership with Intix adds another dimension to the company's capabilities.
Expressing excitement over the deal, Antoine Cuypers, Director Strategic Alliances at Intix, said, "We are very excited that Clearstream selected Intix in a move that reaffirms our status as a veritable leader in transaction data analysis across the worlds of payments and securities. By adopting our accessible solution, Clearstream have underlined how seriously they take effective data management and why they stand out as a 'best-in-class' solution."
Daniel Besse, CIO at Clearstream, equally emphasised the importance of this partnership, explaining that for a global post-trade infrastructure provider of Clearstream's size, processing thousands of transaction data messages each day, a solution like Intix's can "simplify operational processes immensely" by providing easy and comprehensive insight into messaging data.
With the new partnership, Clearstream is set to implement Intix across all of its group operations and as a result, the company has provided a licence for a range of different users on the platform. As the collaboration develops, it is expected that the Intix transaction data management solution will be expanded to additional proprietary formats implemented by Clearstream with its high-volume clients on bilateral channels.
