Claroty appoints Logan & Gidley as EMEA chief technology officers
Claroty has announced the appointment of Matt Logan and Elliot Gidley to the roles of Field Chief Technology Officer for EMEA. The company's focus with these new roles is on aiding critical infrastructure organisations to secure increasingly complex environments.
"These appointments are the next step in Claroty's EMEA customer-focused strategy and add to the wide range of positive changes we are making in the region to better serve our customers throughout their cyber physical security journey," said Andrew Lintell, General Manager, EMEA. "I'm looking forward to the significant impact Matt and Elliot will deliver in helping our customers accelerate their CPS security posture and strategies," Lintell added.
In their new roles, Logan and Gidley will assist customers in understanding the operational risks of the Extended Internet of Things (XIoT) and cyber-physical systems (CPS). They will also help safeguard critical industrial security assets by providing thought leadership and security advisory services to ensure customers have effective cyber resilience programs in place.
Before joining Claroty, Matt Logan served as the Head of Sales Engineering at SonicWall for the UKI, France, and META regions. During his tenure, he focused on driving customer satisfaction across the organisation. Previously, Logan also held sales-related roles at SenseOn and Deep Instinct where he contributed to reducing proof of concept durations and increasing successful closure rates, contributing to a 20% year-on-year growth rate in the EMEA region.
Elliot Gidley spent five years at Cylance Inc. as a Principal Sales Engineer, where he was responsible for ensuring customers achieved their desired outcomes while maximising the value of Cylance's cybersecurity solutions.
Logan expressed his enthusiasm for joining Claroty, stating, "I am thrilled to be joining one of the world's leading cybersecurity companies. The Claroty team's track record of innovation in the CPS security space is beyond impressive and being part of this is an exciting prospect. I'm equally looking forward to the great opportunity to work across a diverse and high-profile customer base."
Gidley also conveyed his excitement for his new role, saying, "In this new role, my goal is to provide customers with best practice advice on digital transformation and exposure management while arming them with the best cybersecurity tools that can be easily adopted and translated into strong return on investments. The incoming NIS2 Directive is putting critical infrastructure entities under mounting pressure to minimise risk and drive resilience. Claroty is uniquely equipped to help customers achieve their goals in this vital area."
The appointments follow a period of significant growth for Claroty. The company surpassed USD $100 million in annual recurring revenue in 2023 and secured an additional USD $100 million in strategic growth financing, making them the most well-funded cybersecurity company in the industrial (OT), healthcare (IoMT), and enterprise IoT sectors to date, with total funding of USD $735 million.
Claroty has also received numerous accolades from industry analysts, including winning 'Best in KLAS' for Healthcare IoT Security four years in a row, being named a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave: Operational Technology Security Solutions for Q2 2024, and being listed in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 and the Forbes Cloud 100 for three consecutive years. The company was also included in the inaugural Fortune Cyber 60.
