
Celonis appoints Dan Brown as new chief product officer
Celonis has appointed Dan Brown as its new Chief Product Officer, reinforcing its executive leadership team.

Brown's new role will involve close collaboration with the Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams. His focus will be on delivering solutions aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency, and sustainability while leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AI.
Prior to his new role at Celonis, Brown spent over six years as Chief Product Officer at Certinia, where he oversaw product management and engineering efforts. His career also spans 15 years at Microsoft, where he held various leadership roles. At Microsoft, he was notably the General Manager of Corporate Strategy and Development, as well as General Manager of Dynamics AX Application R&D and Dynamics NAV R&D.
Before his tenure at Microsoft, Brown co-founded Netabacus, a B2B e-commerce start-up, serving as Vice President of Product and Engineering. Netabacus was later acquired by Rivio.
Brown is an alumnus of Stanford University, where he earned multiple degrees, including a master's degree in computer science and an undergraduate degree in physics.
