Bugcrowd partners with Axon Technologies for EMEA expansion
Bugcrowd has announced a new partnership with Axon Technologies, a Dubai-based security services company, to enhance its presence in the EMEA market.
This marks a significant move for Bugcrowd, which specialises in crowdsourced security solutions. Axon Technologies is known for its expertise in managed security services, SOC consulting, security engineering, advanced testing, and incident response services. The company serves over 60 customers across various sectors, including financial services, healthcare, and government, with a notable presence in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The Bugcrowd Platform aims to connect organisations with trusted hackers, also known as security researchers, to proactively defend against sophisticated cyber threats. This collaborative effort utilises the skills of the global hacking community to uncover and mitigate risks in applications, systems, and infrastructure. Solutions offered include penetration-testing-as-a-service, managed bug bounties, and vulnerability disclosure programs.
Paul Ciesielski, Chief Revenue Officer of Bugcrowd, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. "We are thrilled to announce Axon Technologies as a Bugcrowd partner," he said. "This collaboration brings together Bugcrowds leading crowdsourced cybersecurity platform with Axon Technologies' expertise in innovative security solutions. Together, we will provide unparalleled protection for our clients, leveraging the collective ingenuity of our global community of hackers and Axon's advanced technology."
Hadi Hosn, CEO of Axon Technologies, highlighted the benefits of the alliance for their customers. "Axons alliance with Bugcrowd significantly enhances the cybersecurity services we offer our customers. It aligns with our commitment to providing our customers with the highest level of security by leveraging global expertise, advanced technology and innovation. This collaboration directly addresses the critical security needs of our customers, ensuring their systems and data are protected against evolving threats," said Hosn.
Jacques Lopez, Global VP of Channel and Alliances at Bugcrowd, noted the complementary nature of the two companies' focuses. "AXONs focus on tradecraft, technology, talent, and teamwork is well aligned with Bugcrowds focus on modern crowdsourced security," he said. "Our business is built on the belief that cybersecurity is a team endeavour demanding a range of expertise, which is why we are looking for partners who complement and add value to our core services. This is a great step in our continued expansion with the channel."
Bugcrowd has recently secured USD $102 million to support its international expansion efforts and has acquired UK-based attack surface management provider Informer as part of its growth strategy. The company continues to invest in its platform and community to deliver scalable and adaptable security solutions to global clients.
