Alteryx unveils AiDIN Copilot AI assistant for analytics boost

In a move set to significantly enhance the analytics capabilities of over 8,300 global enterprises, Alteryx, an AI enterprise analytics vendor, has announced the forthcoming launch of Alteryx AiDIN Copilot. This AI assistant is designed to fundamentally transform the process of building analytical workflows, offering potential improvements in speed, efficiency, and ease of use. The new tool will be formally unveiled next week, coinciding with Alteryx's annual Inspire event.

Alteryx AiDIN Copilot will integrate Google Cloud's Gemini AI models to deliver a conversational interface for data interaction. This development aims to democratise the power of AI across organisations, enabling employees at all technical skill levels to leverage advanced analytics to drive business decisions. Moreover, it promises to speed up the workflow-building process by up to seven times.

The AiDIN Copilot is poised to offer multiple benefits, including rapidly accelerating workflow creation by placing tools directly on the Alteryx Designer canvas. This will reduce the time previously spent on manual configurations, thus expediting the analytics process for both novice and experienced data workers.

Additionally, AiDIN Copilot aims to make data-driven decision-making more accessible. Users can simply engage in a conversation with the AI, receiving best-practice responses to assist in constructing effective analytical workflows on Alteryx Designer, Alteryx’s popular drag-and-drop desktop analytics solution.

AiDIN Copilot's central feature is ensuring that these advancements are conducted within a trustworthy and governed environment. Built on Alteryx’s Responsible AI Principles, IT leaders can rely on features such as Private Data Handling, Referenceable AI, and an Upskilling Program. These elements serve as essential guardrails, making AI more accessible while adhering to governance standards.

Beyond the introduction of AiDIN Copilot, Alteryx is showcasing a series of innovations across its product portfolio at Alteryx Inspire 2024. This includes enhanced cloud analytics and generative AI capabilities, which will enable customers to create high-value analytics use cases. New enterprise readiness features are also included in the Alteryx Designer and Server 24.1 releases, alongside accelerated cloud journey support through Azure integration for Cloud Execution for Desktop.
