Adeptia appoints Christopher Monterio as CFO to drive growth
Adeptia has appointed Christopher Monterio as Chief Financial Officer to help guide the company through its next phase of expansion.
Monterio joins Adeptia at a time of increasing demand from enterprises for clean and usable data, following recent updates to the firm's flagship automation platform. His previous position was Vice President of Finance at Suralink, a company offering a cloud-based application for accountants. Monterio has over two decades of experience in financial leadership roles at venture- and private equity-backed technology firms.
As CFO, Monterio will be responsible for steering Adeptia's financial strategy, assisting with scaling operations, and delivering on the company's business objectives within the enterprise data automation market. His experience spans both startup and established environments, giving him insight into driving business performance and implementing operational systems that support rapid growth.
The appointment follows the latest enhancements to the Adeptia Automate platform. According to Adeptia, the platform now features a more modern user experience, AI copilot-powered data mapping, improved scalability to support enterprise clients, frictionless operations, and enhanced security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
Charles Nardi, Chief Executive Officer of Adeptia, commented on the appointment and the timing for the business:
"We're at an exciting inflection point in Adeptia's journey. The demand for clean data and smart automation across the enterprise has never been greater, and Christopher's proven ability to guide financial strategy and scale operations comes at exactly the right time. His leadership will help us heighten our ability to meet customer expectations, accelerate growth, and further solidify our position as the leader in intelligent data automation."
The company's goal is to facilitate enterprise management of incoming data by providing tools to transform it into structured, useful information for business operations. Adeptia Automate is described as a no-code platform, which allows users from both business and IT backgrounds to connect, map, validate, and automate business workflows based on incoming data. The platform incorporates artificial intelligence to continually learn and refine its processes, helping organisations to efficiently manage and make use of complex and messy datasets.
Enterprise clients are increasingly seeking solutions that streamline their data workflows while maintaining compliance and security. Adeptia's stated focus is on providing business users and IT professionals the means to integrate data from a variety of sources, helping organisations achieve improved alignment between business goals and operational processes.
Monterio's appointment is intended to strengthen the executive team as Adeptia aims to scale up in response to current customer demands and to support the adoption of intelligent data automation across industries.
The latest developments in Adeptia's product offerings are part of the company's strategy to adapt to evolving business needs in the area of data integration, ensuring organisations can access, clean, and leverage information as required for strategic decision-making and day-to-day operations.
