Workhuman unveils AI analytics to boost HR decision-making

Today

Workhuman has announced an enhancement to its Workhuman iQ platform, introducing an advanced AI-powered analytics capability designed to support HR leaders in making informed, data-driven decisions for their organisations.

The platform, powered by a combination of Social Recognition data and artificial intelligence, aims to provide Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs) and HR teams with a comprehensive view of employee skills, retention risks, and productivity levels. This development is intended to enable organisations to drive measurable business impact by leveraging the collective knowledge of their workforces.

A Deloitte Insights research report suggests that 70% of leaders believe HR must transition from traditional measurement approaches to methods that unlock organisational-wide human performance, thereby facilitating business transformation and shared strategic outcomes. In response to this need, Workhuman iQ is presented as the only analytics solution offering a unified perspective on people dynamics, cultural health, and performance metrics informed by peer-to-peer recognition data.

Workhuman has a history of innovation in AI for HR, including the development of the first recognition-based Machine Learning Models informed by 25 years of proprietary research and data. The Workhuman iQ platform now enables HR leaders to uncover hidden insights through data analysis, such as identifying emerging cultural trends, understanding retention insights to mitigate absenteeism, analysing soft skills to spot gaps, and identifying candidates for internal promotions.

KeyAnna Schmiedl, Chief Human Experience Officer at Workhuman, commented on the enhancement: "Historically, HR leaders have de-emphasised the importance of qualitative data when reporting out to their organisations due to the lack of relevant, accurate, and helpful information. As a result, they have over indexed in quantitative data and the same elementary metrics to tell a story of impactful programming."

"The data generated through Social Recognition is deeply human, going beyond surface-level praise to reveal the true behaviours and skills that drive business outcomes. It provides People Leaders with the facts, figures, and information they've been craving for years. With Workhuman iQ, we provide the kind of rich, unsolicited insights that enable HR to be strategic business partners - delivering proven results," Schmiedl said.

The new features of Workhuman iQ include a Generative AI-Powered Knowledge Base, which provides HR leaders with the ability to query real-time insights into workforce trends, recognition patterns, and talent development. By analysing metrics around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), identifying skill gaps, and understanding employee engagement, Workhuman's AI Assistant provides data-backed insights that support informed decision-making aligned with both HR and broader business priorities.

In addition, Workhuman iQ delivers Advanced Talent Intelligence and Leadership Analytics, enhancing organisations' ability to gain a deeper understanding of employee skills, leadership behaviours, and organisational trends. The platform supports the identification of high-potential talent and assists in building robust leadership pipelines, offering detailed reports on DEI initiatives and improving visibility into team dynamics.
