WithU tops leisure sector as fastest-growing in FT1000 list

Today

WithU, a British company in the digital fitness, health, and wellness industry, has been acknowledged as one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe, according to the 2025 FT1000 list curated by the Financial Times and Statista.

The FT1000 list ranks privately owned companies based on their Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) in revenue from 2020/21 to 2023/24. With a CAGR of 245.8%, WithU has been ranked 26 out of 1,000 companies and has achieved the top position in the Leisure and Entertainment industry in Europe.

Steve Clarke, Co-Founder and CEO of WithU, said, "It is a real honour to be identified as one of Europe's fastest-growing companies overall by the Financial Times, and we are especially proud to be announced as the fastest-growing company in our industry sector. Achievements like this do not come easily and result from a huge amount of hard work from a very talented team at WithU, for which I am very thankful."

"I am also extremely grateful to our partners, representing many of the world's largest brands, for the confidence they have in our industry-disrupting technology and products."

WithU originated as an audio-first fitness application but has since expanded into a prominent entity in the digital wellness sector. Its product offerings now encompass both consumer and business-to-business solutions. The company's growth has been fuelled by strategic partnerships with major brands such as Visa, McDonald's, Sky, Samsung, Vodafone, Orange, and John Lewis & Partners.

Jiyun Lehner-Lee, a Key Analyst at Statista who participated in the FT1000 research, provided insight into the recognition: "The Leisure & Entertainment Sector has shown steady growth in the rankings over the past three years. The number of companies listed has more than doubled this year. WithU secured the top position in the Leisure & Entertainment industry, achieving an impressive CAGR of 245.8 per cent. Despite being one of the youngest companies on the list, it demonstrated remarkable revenue growth and entered the FT1000 rankings for the first time."

WithU's recognition in the FT1000 rankings highlights its rapid growth within the digital fitness and wellness industry. Its strong financial performance, strategic partnerships, and expansion into both consumer and business markets reflect broader trends in the sector. As demand for digital health solutions continues to rise, companies like WithU are positioned to play a key role in shaping the future of fitness and wellness innovation.
