TP-Link launches Omada DR3650v, a new DSL Gateway

TP-Link has introduced its first DSL Gateway, the Omada DR3650v, to enhance communications and networking for small—and medium-sized businesses.

The Omada DR3650v is designed to boost operational efficiency, fortify security, and simplify business IT management. It allows organisations to adapt to changing demands while optimising infrastructure for increased productivity and reliability.

A key aspect of the Omada DR3650v is its integration into the Omada platform, which allows businesses to manage their entire network centrally. This includes integration with Wi-Fi, switches, and security gateways, providing a unified approach to network administration.

Another notable feature is the DR3650v's multi-WAN backup and load-balancing capabilities. This feature facilitates the integration of various connections, including DSL, 4G, Ethernet, and Fibre, with an automatic failover to ensure continuous internet access. It also offers an upgrade path from DSL to full fibre when available.

The DSL Gateway is equipped with enterprise-grade security measures. These include a robust firewall, Deep Packet Inspection, and content filtering to protect sensitive data and defend against cyber threats.

The DR3650v also supports high-performance VPN protocols, safeguarding encrypted connections for remote employees and enabling secure data sharing and collaboration.

With its built-in IP PBX and voice port, the DR3650v allows businesses to manage voice communications directly. Features such as call forwarding, voicemail, and video calls enhance team collaboration.
