Fri, 26th Jan 2024

Warehouse technology pioneer, Synergy Logistics, has announced the appointment of Chris White as Head of Sales for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), as part of a wider strategy to promote growth and expansion. White, who brings with him over 25 years of experience in large-scale operations, will focus on enhancing client engagement and developing the company's commercial strategy.

Previously holding senior positions in high-profile companies such as Hewlett Packard, Pitney Bowes, and DHL Express, White has extensive experience in IT, supply chain, warehousing, and distribution. His most recent role as a Director for the SaaS Enterprise Division of Parcel2Go saw remarkable success, with growth rates reaching 300% over a seven-year period. This impressive growth led to the Enterprise Division expanding to account for 60% of Parcel2Go's business, turning a portfolio of three organisations into one that encompassed thirty.

Commenting on his appointment, White says: "I am thrilled to be a part of Synergy - a company that is as flexible, agile and adaptable as its software solutions. The products they offer make a real, tangible difference and I am excited to contribute to the positive trajectory of the business.” He further added that he would be working closely with Synergy’s EMEA CEO, Tony Dobson, bringing his expertise in the establishment of strong partnerships and delivering enterprise-level value.

In an effort to support the company's ambitions for growth, White will be supplemented by the newly promoted Business Development Manager, Kirsten-Reece Tarpey, and Dan Moss, assuming the role of Commercial & Operations Manager.

With operations in both the UK and the US, Synergy Logistics has been instrumental in warehouse management technology, for over half a century. Its intuitive cloud-based warehouse management system (WMS), SnapFulfil, offers superior technology and a quick return on investment provided by a bespoke, flexible workflow rules engine. Known for its adaptability, SnapFulfil can be implemented rapidly and can meet evolving fulfillment demands effectively, ultimately enhancing warehouse competency.

The company’s recent groundbreaking technology, SnapControl, is an award-winning multi-agent orchestration platform (MAO) which provides a device-neutral, unified approach to automation. SnapControl enables an efficient organisation of all warehouse devices and robots, presenting a low total cost of ownership and rapid value time.
