Snom has added two new IP end devices and an expansion module to its D8xx deskphone series, aimed at enhancing modern office communication.

The new devices, the D812 and D815W, alongside the D8C expansion module, are now available as part of Snom's product line. The D812 model is equipped with four context-sensitive keys, eight programmable keys, and a five-way navigation button, promising adaptability to various user requirements. This includes setting up call groups and speed dials.

The D815W model, which is larger than its counterpart, features antibacterial housing, a 5-inch TFT colour display, and offers support for up to 12 SIP identities. Its connectivity features include two gigabit capabilities and two USB 2.0 ports. The integration of Wi-Fi, combined with ten keys that allow up to forty different functions, offers versatility and performance.

Both devices can be configured remotely using auto-provisioning or SRAPS, maintaining Snom's high standards for security and HD audio quality.

Steven Try, Channel Manager UK&I at Snom, commented, "With the new D812 and D815W models, we are expanding the D8xx series with attractive options in the mid-price market; both offer high performance that meets the everyday needs of most work environments. The D812 and the D815W are affordable solutions for companies who value functionality, design and quality."

The new D8C expansion module introduces a high-resolution colour display and user-friendly interface. Up to three D8C modules can be connected via plug & play to the USB port of a D8xx deskphone, providing a comprehensive view of call activity and expanding application possibilities.

Try added, "The D8C has been eagerly anticipated by our customers. The D8xx series has been very popular – these three new products are just the start of several other launches that we have planned for this series."
