Red Sift & Gradian partner to boost email security tools

Today

Red Sift has formed a partnership with data protection provider Gradian to expand access to its suite of cybersecurity applications, including the email security solution Red Sift OnDMARC.

The arrangement, established via Red Sift's relationship with UK distributor E92plus, will allow Gradian to offer OnDMARC and other Red Sift capabilities to its client base. This partnership aims to enhance Gradian's current data loss protection and data security posture management services by integrating Red Sift's tools, designed to protect against advanced cyberattacks, particularly those that exploit artificial intelligence.

Rahul Powar, Chief Executive Officer of Red Sift, commented on the partnership, "Today's partnership announcement marks the next chapter in our continued collaboration and innovation with leading service providers in the United Kingdom. Working together, I'm excited to offer our award-winning Red Sift OnDMARC application to new and existing customers, achieving success with Gradian."

The partnership comes as organisations face increasing challenges from email-based cyberattacks. According to data from the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), 91% of cyberattacks begin with email. The emergence of generative AI has further increased the complexity and danger of such attacks, prompting demand for security tools that can address these threats.

Through the agreement, Gradian will be able to provide Red Sift OnDMARC to new and existing users, enabling advanced authentication checks and comprehensive reporting capabilities. Red Sift states that organisations will benefit from features not available through other DMARC solution providers.

Red Sift OnDMARC includes advanced forensic reporting, which offers granular insights into failed authentication attempts and real-time spoofing detection. An extensive database and AI-driven analysis power this. Additionally, OnDMARC provides a single platform for managing SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MTA-STS, permitting one-time DNS updates and eliminating the need for repeated request changes.

The product supports Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI), which allows companies to display their logo in recipients' inboxes following successful DMARC enforcement. Other features include powerful AI automation via Red Sift Radar, which is claimed to enable the detection and resolution of security issues up to ten times faster. In response to last year's SubdoMailing attacks affecting approximately 8,000 domains and 13,000 subdomains, Red Sift introduced DNS Guardian, offering real-time alerts for unauthorised DNS changes and monitoring the integrity of critical records.

OnDMARC also integrates with other Red Sift offerings, such as Brand Trust, ASM, and Certificates, allowing customers to adjust their security measures as requirements evolve.

Matt Elvin, Head of Technical Services at Gradian, explained the rationale for the collaboration: "We are excited to partner with Red Sift as this highlights our continued commitment to offer independent advice and expertise with industry-leading email security solutions. This partnership broadens our portfolio of first-class technologies that can help organisations protect their brand and reputation when it comes to email based attacks ranging from business email compromise (BEC) through to spear-phishing and spoofing."

Red Sift and Gradian state that, by working together, they aim to empower businesses to enhance their cybersecurity and respond more effectively to evolving digital threats.
