PPDS appoints Carles Forné as LED solutions manager

PPDS has announced the appointment of Carles Forné as the Solutions Manager for LED in its Technical Sales Support team.

Carles Forné, a specialist with comprehensive expertise in the LED market, joins the team with a wealth of experience in the indoor and outdoor LED sectors. His expertise includes sales, distribution, repairs, and project management. With a seven-year career marked by roles in product management and service as a technician, he has developed substantial knowledge of major LED manufacturers, including PPDS' Philips LED solutions.

In his new role, Carles will be reporting to Jan Van Tieghem, Director of Technical Sales Support at PPDS. He will be tasked with significant responsibilities, including providing pre- and post-sales support for LED products and enhancing the understanding of the advantages offered by Philips direct view LED (dvLED) systems across various market sectors.

Expressing his views on the appointment, Carles stated, "PPDS has made some incredible strides, going from a near unknown in the LED market, to engineering a growing number of unique features that stand the product apart. Whether it is new adopters to the technology or those looking to upgrade, Philips direct view LED is an integral part of the conversation, with examples of installations – including indoor, outdoor, and All In One – increasingly prevalent in almost every area.
