Nexxen unveils nexAI suite to transform advertising with AI
Nexxen has announced the launch of nexAI, an artificial intelligence-powered suite of tools designed for its advertising technology platform.
The nexAI platform is structured as a collection of AI assistants and features that are vertically integrated across the core functions of Nexxen's end-to-end system, including its demand-side platform, supply-side platform, data capabilities, and in-house creative services.
Nexxen states that the integration of nexAI will impact every component of the advertising life cycle, spanning planning, activation, optimisation, and monetisation. The company positions the new offering as prioritising transparency and user control, while harnessing machine learning and generative AI to support clients throughout the campaign journey.
Karim Rayes, Chief Product Officer at Nexxen, commented: "Our clients are continuing to lean into data and technology to navigate the fragmented media landscape, and nexAI meets this evolving need. By integrating AI across our unified platform – and leveraging our existing data to inform these capabilities – we're not just adding features; we're fundamentally transforming the way campaigns are run and inventory is monetised."
Nexxen describes the key benefits of nexAI across four main areas. For planning, nexAI applies AI to enhance audience segmentation, forecasting, and provide more detailed strategic recommendations. In the activation phase, campaign set-up and management are streamlined through the automation capabilities of the platform.
In campaign optimisation, nexAI is built to monitor and modify campaigns in real time using machine learning algorithms. Nexxen claims these algorithms evolve and improve through continual learning, with the goal of maximising both performance and return on investment.
The platform also offers monetisation tools for publishers, including AI-driven yield optimisation and transparency measures. This, Nexxen asserts, is intended to help publishers maximise their revenue from advertising inventory.
Jamie Snider, Director of Digital Strategy at Assembly Global, outlined the efficiencies afforded by nexAI: "Sifting through campaign data to uncover meaningful insights can take hours, but nexAI puts that power at our fingertips in an instant. By streamlining reporting and optimisation, it lets us spend less time digging and more time driving real results for clients."
Brian Binder, Senior Innovation and Growth Director, TV, Audio & Display at Tinuiti, also highlighted potential workflow benefits: "By automating data and insight collection, nexAI will streamline our team's workflow, allowing us to shift focus to higher-value strategic initiatives and discovering new growth opportunities for our clients."
The first feature to launch under the nexAI suite is an in-platform assistant that is natively integrated within Nexxen DSP. This assistant aims to simplify the workflow for advertisers and provide immediate access to complex insights related to campaigns. Nexxen plans to further expand the assistant's capabilities, eventually enabling users to directly apply optimisation recommendations and drive greater return on ad spend.
The company indicates that further developments and additional features associated with nexAI will be announced over the course of the year.
