Lánluas appoints Nick Gibson as UK & Ireland manager
Lánluas has appointed Nick Gibson as the new Country Manager for the UK and Ireland.
Nick Gibson brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having formerly served as the Sales Director at TechnologyOne UK. His appointment is seen as a strategic move by Lánluas to bolster support for TechnologyOne customers in the UK and Ireland as demand for specialised consultancy services grows.
Prior to joining Lánluas, Gibson managed his own firm, Gibson Advisory Services, providing consultancy to software providers particularly in the higher education and public sector spheres. His career also includes time as the head of education and research at NTT Data business solutions for the UK and Ireland and as the UK sales director for Thesis, a student management solution provider.
Gibson's earlier career includes twenty years with UNIT4 in senior roles focused on education, research, and not-for-profit sectors, culminating in his position as TechnologyOne's UK Sales Director.
"I am delighted to be appointed the new United Kingdom and Ireland Country Manager for Lánluas," Gibson stated. He highlighted the increasing need for specialised consultancy in the UK and Ireland, adding, "We are looking to further grow our team on the ground in response to that demand." Gibson expressed his eagerness to partner with organisations in higher education and public sectors, emphasising support for making the most of ERP systems through applications support, continuous enhancement, and implementation.
Lánluas CEO Richard McManus expressed confidence in Gibson's abilities. "Our client base in the UK and Ireland has been growing steadily, and we couldn't think of anyone more qualified to lead on the ground for us," he stated. "Nick brings unparalleled knowledge and experience of both the TechnologyOne product and ecosystem and the consulting industry," McManus added, looking forward to seeing the benefits of Gibson's expertise shared with their clients.
In related news, Lánluas has released a whitepaper titled "TechnologyOne CiA Cloud Adoption: Exploring Drivers, Overcoming Challenges, and Realising Benefits." The document is designed to address the challenges and opportunities faced by organisations transitioning to TechnologyOne CiA and managing ongoing enhancements post-implementation.
The whitepaper compiles insights from approximately 120 users of TechnologyOne, alongside input from a series of roundtable discussions with IT leaders from Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. These discussions were aimed at organisations in varying stages of their cloud adoption journey, supplemented by independent research commissioned by Lánluas.
Lánluas has also commenced a webinar series to support organisations in their TechnologyOne ERP adoption efforts. "We invite IT and transformation leaders to download the whitepaper and join us for our expert webinar series," McManus announced, noting that these sessions promise to offer valuable insights and practical strategies applicable at any stage of the ERP adoption process.
