Iplicit strengthens executive team for substantial growth
Cloud accounting firm iplicit is bolstering its executive team as it anticipates another year of substantial growth.
The company, which is reportedly leading the UK mid-market in customer acquisition among cloud accounting software vendors, now serves more than 30,000 users daily across over 2,000 organisations with support from 149 staff by December 2024.
Damon Anderson has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer, having previously led significant growth as Regional Chief Operating Officer at Xero. Paul Sparkes has taken on the role of Chief Product Officer, with extensive experience in the accounting software industry through previous roles at Exchequer, IRIS, and OneAdvanced. In preparation for a projected US launch in 2026, Scott Regnier has assumed the position of Chief Sales Officer, after 15 months as UK Head of Sales.
iplicit Chief Executive Officer Lyndon Stickley remarked, "iplicit now has an all-star C-suite team and a board that underpins our aspirations to reach £100m ARR in the next six years. We're on an ascent to becoming the dominant provider in the UK market and we're excited about another explosive year of growth in 2025. We are now deploying more systems annually than any other mid-market cloud accounting offering in the UK. I am confident that we will continue to onboard more new customers than every other alternative cloud proposition in our mid-market space, including Sage."
Stickley highlighted that iplicit caters to organisations with needs exceeding entry-level software like Xero, while remaining an attractive alternative to larger systems due to reduced disruption and lower costs.
Damon Anderson commented on his new role, stating: "At iplicit, we have a wonderful product that customers love and we have an amazing culture with real energy and excitement. But we're early in our journey and sometimes it seems like we're the best-kept secret in the software space. My mission is to make the shift from iplicit being the best-kept secret to being top of mind for finance directors."
Scott Regnier, with a background in B2B and SaaS firms including Salesforce and Checkr, is focused on leading UK sales efforts ahead of iplicit's planned expansion to the US. He remarked, "The additions to the C-suite highlight the organisation's commitment to iplicit is growing UK customer and partner base. I'm part of a team which includes some of the most talented people I've known in all my years in business. I continue to be impressed with the level of investment iplicit is making in both systems and people."
Paul Sparkes, who will lead a newly established product team, said, "I can't wait to join the brilliant iplicit product team and work with them to continue to deliver ground-breaking and productivity enhancing features in the months and years ahead."
