Gallagher Security reveals new future-focused solutions

Thu, 17th Apr 2025

Gallagher Security reflected on its participation at The Security Event 2025, which took place at Birmingham's NEC from 8-10 April.

The event saw a full team from Gallagher Europe present, with Executive Vice President – Europe, Spencer Marshall, attending his first Security Event.

Marshall commented on the event, saying, "TSE was a spectacular event, and provided the perfect platform to engage with Channel Partners, End Users, and members of the wider security industry. These opportunities are so valuable to best understand the current and emerging needs of our industry, and to help us to shape the path forward, unlocking even greater value for our users through the power of our people and our solutions."

He added, "Our team was proud to be showcasing some of our most recent cutting-edge innovations which are set to shake up the security industry, and we're excited to be continually pushing boundaries and exploring what extra value our solutions can unlock. We're in for an exciting year."

Gallagher Security used the event to showcase a selection of new products and features, including the Controller 7000 product range, employee badge in Apple Wallet, perimeter solutions, and the newly introduced QuickSwitch system.

QuickSwitch is designed to help businesses migrate more efficiently from legacy systems to Gallagher's security platform. The system is intended to streamline installation, reduce labour costs, and minimise the operational disruptions often associated with system migration. According to the company, QuickSwitch addresses risks linked to older systems and offers flexibility with three versions covering multiple boards, making transitions from a variety of legacy systems possible.

Another significant highlight discussed at the Gallagher stand was the upcoming Command Centre v9.30 release, described as a solution for remote security management. The update is aimed at simplifying the process of securing remote infrastructure, lowering associated costs, and providing enhanced oversight and control. The v9.30 release is being introduced with additional integrations and feature upgrades, with Gallagher stating that it is among the most comprehensive releases it has offered.

During The Security Event, Gallagher Security was recognised for its partnership with the UK's Skills for Security through the receipt of a plaque commemorating its recent Platinum partnership. Skills for Security plays a role in training future security professionals through apprenticeship programmes.

Bethan Thompson, European Marketing Manager – Europe at Gallagher Security, spoke on the partnership: "As a company with people proudly at the heart of everything we do, our partnership with Skills for Security further acknowledges our commitment to people and remaining future-focused. We know that the power of our success lies in our people, and we are thrilled to be joining forces to empower the next generation of security professionals."

The event also included panel discussions with Gallagher staff.

Matt Wills, European Technical Manager, participated in a discussion moderated by Lee Odess on critical infrastructure protection, focusing on European trends and opportunities. Gordon Swallow, Sales Manager – UK South, joined a panel session in the ASIS Networking Lounge, discussing technologies influencing the future of security systems.
