Former British Gas MD Ian Peters named Chairman of Sagacity
London-based data consultancy Sagacity has announced the appointment of former British Gas MD, Ian Peters, as its new Chairman. The move precedes an anticipated period of significant growth for the company in 2024. Peters has been advising the company strategically since 2018, and will now lead Sagacity's boardroom and veteran management team.
Peters has gathered expansive managerial experience in several of the UK's largest and niche companies across various industries including Energy, Housing, Non-Profit, and Public sectors. In recent years, he has also invested in and chaired several rapidly growing technology and data-centric businesses that are owned by private equity. Currently, he also holds chair roles at UK Health Security Agency, Legal & General Affordable Homes, and IMServ Limited.
Sagacity, which operates mainly in the Energy, Water, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Non-Profit sectors, is well positioned to capitalise on Peters' multi-sector insights. His expertise will supplement Sagacity's robust growth plans as they evolve throughout 2024 and beyond.
