FloQast & PwC Belgium join forces to modernise accounting
FloQast and PwC Belgium have announced a strategic partnership intended to assist accounting teams across EMEA in adapting to changing professional demands.
The partnership combines FloQast's AI-supported workflow technology with the expertise of PwC Belgium in financial closing processes, with the aim of improving organisational efficiency and precision while offering deeper business insights.
John Phillips, General Manager, FloQast EMEA, said, "Our partnership with PwC Belgium reinforces our commitment to helping accounting teams across EMEA adapt to the evolving demands of the profession. With increasing regulatory complexity and a shrinking talent pool, finance teams need smarter, more efficient ways to work. By combining FloQast's AI-powered technology with PwC Belgium's deep industry expertise, we're enabling organisations to improve accuracy, enhance compliance, and drive greater operational agility."
PwC Belgium expects their expertise combined with FloQast's technology will help businesses modernise key finance functions. Matthias Reyntjens, PwC Partner, stated, "PwC Belgium is excited to announce a partnership with FloQast. This collaboration combines PwC's industry expertise with FloQast's innovative technology to modernise financial close operations and tackle the challenges posed by inefficient processes."
FloQast provides a range of solutions aimed at streamlining accounting processes, covering areas such as close management, account reconciliations, and compliance management. These services have been developed to help accounting teams by enhancing transparency and communication, automating tasks that can be repetitive or labour-intensive, and supporting financial accuracy.
The company asserts that these tools allow teams to collaborate more efficiently and enable businesses to reduce the chance of errors, speed up both record-to-report and compliance management, and better utilise available data for strategic organisational decisions.
The platform's integration with existing information systems is designed to create a smoother transition for organisations adopting newer technologies, with minimal disruption to ongoing operations and the potential for future scalability.
FloQast's cloud-based software allows for relatively rapid deployment and minimal involvement for IT departments. Among its features is the FloQast AI Agents component, which the company describes as an auditable artificial intelligence capability allowing accountants to automate recurring tasks in close management, compliance, and reporting through natural language prompts rather than detailed programming.
This new partnership builds on FloQast's broader global collaboration with PwC member firms. Recent initiatives include partnerships with PwC in North America, as well as previously announced consulting relationships formed in 2024 with PwC UK, PwC Germany, and PwC Australia. These collaborations aim to extend finance transformation capabilities and support for organisations worldwide.
