Veeam Data Cloud launch empowers MSPs with unified SaaS tools
Veeam has announced the general availability of Veeam Data Cloud for managed service providers through its Veeam Cloud & Service Provider programme.
The new service is aimed at third-party providers seeking to deliver data protection and resilience via a secure software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for clients with varied environments. With Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) for managed service providers (MSPs), providers are able to streamline the management and deployment of their backup and recovery solutions, responding to increased customer demand and complex operational requirements.
Veeam Data Cloud for MSPs is structured to allow service providers an integrated approach to deploying, managing, and protecting client workloads on platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, with straightforward connectivity to Veeam Vault. The offering brings together actionable insights, multiple security layers, and automation within one interface, with the aim of helping MSPs reduce complexity and scale their services efficiently.
"Partners are at the core of everything we do at Veeam, because we achieve more together. With Veeam Data Cloud for MSPs, partners can now easily deliver industry-leading data resilience and exceptional customer experiences through a secure, multi-tenant SaaS platform. By streamlining deployment, backup management, and leveraging actionable insights and multi-layered security, our partners can reduce operational overhead, scale services, and drive sustainable, profitable growth - backed by Veeam's proven leadership, innovation and dedication to their success," said John Jester, Chief Revenue Officer at Veeam.
The main features of Veeam Data Cloud for MSPs include a unified platform for managing multiple tenants and workloads from a single interface, rapid scalability for backup and recovery operations, and policy-driven, built-in security features leveraging embedded threat intelligence. Real-time dashboards, automated role-based management controls, and the capacity to quickly launch new services are also offered to aid providers as they seek to reduce costs and grow into new markets.
Veeam Data Cloud is available globally to MSPs through the Veeam Rental Programmeme, with support for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Veeam Vault already in place. Support for Azure and Salesforce workloads, as well as bundled offerings for Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, is planned to be introduced later in the year.
Alongside the VDC launch, Veeam has released Service Provider Console v9, which gives service providers access to expanded management options for Veeam's data platform. The new version incorporates secure, compliant, and flexible management capabilities, with an updated interface that offers deeper integration with Veeam ONE and additional support for the Veeam Software Appliance. Usability improvements and AI-driven insights have also been added, enabling providers to deliver enhanced value to their customers while supporting a broad spectrum of environments.
Service Provider Console v9 is positioned as further reinforcement of Veeam's commitment to the service provider sector, with the goal of simplifying and scaling resilience offerings. Providers using the console can access all features through a unified console, designed to streamline administrative workloads and ensure robust compliance and security standards are met.
Service providers working with Veeam have responded positively to the expanded Data Cloud capabilities. Manoj Kumar, Senior Manager at Sphinx Worldbiz, said, "Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 has empowered us to unlock new opportunities and accelerated our growth. We're excited for the expanded Veeam Data Cloud solutions for VCSP partners, and the continued innovation Veeam promises to deliver."

The upcoming unified UI and expanded support for additional workloads will make the next release of Veeam Data Cloud an especially attractive solution for us."
Through the VCSP programme, providers can offer advanced backup, recovery, and cloud data management to their customers, with training and support available under the Veeam Data Cloud for MSPs offering. IT resellers joining the programme are provided with both technical solutions and marketing resources to help deliver hosted data protection to their customers.
With Veeam Data Cloud for MSPs and Service Provider Console v9, Veeam aims to enable service providers to simplify and expand their data resilience portfolios in line with ongoing industry requirements for security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
