Lenovo unveils LEAP to boost UK channel partner growth, skills

Today

Lenovo has launched the Lenovo 360 Expert Achievers Programme (LEAP) as a new engagement scheme to support growth among its channel partners in the UK and encourage technology adoption for businesses.

The LEAP initiative is positioned within Lenovo's wider strategy to equip its UK channel network with tailored incentives, resources, and training. The programme specifically targets sales and technical support staff at partner organisations, aiming to reinforce their expertise and reward performance in both selling Lenovo products and completing accredited Lenovo training courses.

Rewards and incentives

LEAP offers tax-paid rewards, including gift cards and prepaid Mastercard top-ups, to channel partner employees who achieve set goals. The scheme includes quarterly prize draws, expanding the array of incentives. Rewards can be accumulated through a points-based system, with participants earning points by selling eligible Lenovo products and by finishing structured training courses designed to build their credentials and technical knowledge.

An additional feature of LEAP is the Score BIG Incentive, allowing participants the opportunity to win further prizes such as tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026, for which Lenovo is the official Technology Partner. Channel partners generate LEAP points by sales or course completion; surpassing a points threshold qualifies individuals for entry into Score BIG's quarterly raffle. Among other prizes are luxury breaks, shopping vouchers, and experience days, with winners named every quarter up to early 2026.

Training and development

The training element of LEAP integrates with Lenovo's global Lenovo 360 partner framework. Sporting assignments and curricula that lead to professional certifications, these training pathways are intended to enhance seller competency and support frontline staff development. Accredited completion of learning paths also supports organisations in meeting Lenovo 360 Engage Accreditation requirements and sales tier targets.

LEAP participation is managed via the Lenovo 360 Partner Hub, where employees can register, undertake training, monitor progress and claim rewards. The company has stated that the system is intended to make the rewards process straightforward and accessible to partner staff at all levels.

Statement from Lenovo

"LEAP reaffirms our long-standing commitment to our channel partners and their staff, with an initiative that rewards teams for both driving sales and growing their knowledge. With a simple rewards system accessible through the LEAP portal, staff receive rewards for their efforts, adding to a range of incentives supporting our valued partners to learn, sell, connect and grow with customers."

Channel and SMB Director at Lenovo, Natalie Noor, provided context for the initiative, underlining its dual focus on sales achievement and skills development.

Strategic objectives

Lenovo's wider intent with LEAP is to strengthen collaboration and support its partners as they work with business customers navigating AI and digital transformation projects. The company stated that the programme is another step in its ongoing efforts to engage and motivate both existing and new channel partners across the UK, with the aim of delivering enhanced value to end customers.

Winners of the Score BIG quarterly prize draws will continue to be announced through March 2026 as channel staff participate in sales campaigns and complete Lenovo training activities, contributing directly to their companies' standing within Lenovo's partner tiers and accreditation framework.
