Trupeer raises USD $3m to automate AI-powered video creation

Yesterday

Trupeer has secured USD $3 million in seed funding to enhance how businesses create product videos using artificial intelligence.

The investment round was led by RTP Global and included participation from Salesforce Ventures, following Trupeer's recent recognition at the Salesforce AI Pitchfield. Over 20 chief information officers and chief technology officers from Fortune 500 companies also contributed as angel investors. This funding is set to support Trupeer's goal to improve the speed and quality of video production for organisations operating in technology, customer support, and training sectors.

Trupeer's platform uses AI to automate the transformation of raw screen recordings into finished videos, complete with features such as AI-generated voiceovers, humanlike avatars, and translations into more than 50 languages. The service is currently employed by over 10,000 teams worldwide, including both rapidly expanding startups and established large enterprises.

Founders' vision

Shivali Goyal and Pritish Gupta, co-founders of Trupeer, launched the company after identifying the difficulties teams faced in creating and sharing product knowledge efficiently. Both had professional backgrounds in digital transformation and rapidly scaling business operations. Their research included discussions with software-as-a-service founders, IT leaders, and customer support teams.

"Software should be easy to explain. But until now, making good product videos meant spending hours editing or thousands of dollars on production. We built Trupeer so anyone can turn a simple recording into a polished video that's clear, searchable, and ready to scale, without needing any professional video skills," said Shivali Goyal, CEO and co-founder of Trupeer.

The Trupeer platform works by allowing teams to upload basic recordings, such as product demos or internal walkthroughs. The platform's AI pipeline then processes the content by removing unnecessary filler words, generating narrated voiceovers, producing dynamic zooms, tracking cursor actions, and adding avatars to enhance engagement. Additionally, the software generates step-by-step documentation with screenshots and concise summaries, facilitating clear communication of product details.

Personalisation and multilingual support

One of Trupeer's distinguishing capabilities is its ability to personalise videos for different audiences. The AI allows for multiple versions of a single video to be tailored by factors including audience segment, language, and brand style. Distribution options include instant sharing through public links or embedding videos into existing platforms.

Trupeer's multi-language support is designed to help teams meet the needs of global customers without manual translation resources. Since launch, users have reported more efficient customer engagement, reduced support demands and shorter training durations within their organisations.

Support from investors

"Trupeer is reimagining content creation by turning what was once complex, costly, and manual into a fast, automated, and scalable process. From onboarding to support and training videos, they're making high-quality product content accessible in minutes. We've been incredibly impressed by the positive feedback Trupeer has garnered from its users - they're clearly building something that resonates with a passionate customer base. We're excited to support Shivali and Pritish as they build a defining company in AI-powered content infrastructure," said Madhur Makkar, RTP Global.

The new funding will be used to expand the product beyond current screen recording capabilities. Trupeer's development plans include generating videos from standard documents, personalising content at enterprise scale, and integrating the platform with workplace tools such as customer relationship management and learning management systems.

In the long term, the company aims to develop a system where all workplace knowledge, workflows, and processes can be created, shared, and accessed universally, acting as a comprehensive organisational knowledge base.

Trupeer's latest funding is intended as an initial step towards creating more accessible technology for business content creation, with further product enhancements and global rollouts expected in the future.
